Your account has a plan tier with **daily and monthly allowances**, measured two ways at once: in tokens (the raw unit of agent work) and in cost. Whichever cap you reach first is the one that applies. ## Watching your usage Open **Usage** from your account menu. The page shows live meters — refreshed about every 30 seconds — for **today** and **this month**, each with a token bar and a cost bar against your plan's caps. The meters turn amber as you approach a cap and red when you cross it. Each project's workspace also has a **Cost** tab that breaks the same spend down by story and model, so you can see where a particular build's budget went. ## What happens at a cap When you hit a daily or monthly cap, **agent work pauses until the cap resets** — daily caps reset at midnight UTC. Your projects, previews, and published apps are unaffected; only new agent messages wait. One honest detail: a response that is already in flight when you cross the cap is allowed to finish, so the meter can legitimately read slightly over — the label will say so rather than pretending you stopped exactly at the line. ## Plans during the closed beta Creator is in closed beta, and there's no self-serve upgrade or checkout yet. Every account starts on the free tier, which is sized for getting started — enough for real builds, not for running an agency on. If you're hitting caps and want more room, **contact us** and we'll move your account up while billing is being finished. Nothing in the product spends on your behalf without the plan-approval step — planning a project happens before any workspace is provisioned, and the [plan review](/building/plan-review) is the moment spend actually starts.
